Lukas Counseling provides outreach behavioral health services to people across FL.
We are comprised of 5 different agencies or LLCs. But that's just an internal distinction, you can just say Lukas Counseling to make it easier!
We want to be the best private behavioral health agency in the State of Florida, where clients have an outstanding experience and clinicians want to join our team.
Our core values include: (a) putting ourselves in the client's shoes - what would WE want to experience if we had a 10-year-old daughter seeking treatment for depression-, (b) making processes user-friendly and practical, (c) treating our staff with professionalism and respect, and (if we do that, our clients can in turn, expect the same treatment from our staff), and (d) paying attention to details so that everything runs smoothly and errors are minimized.
My name is Jacy and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I specialize in trauma treatment and am trained in a specific trauma technique called EMDR. I have worked with a lot of clients diagnosed with anxiety, depression, PTSD, personality disorders, among other diagnoses. I also have a lot of experience working with parenting and behavioral therapy for children. Jacy is a qualified supervisor for licensure (LCSW).
Ashley has been a Case Manager for mentally challenged youth ages 7 to 17 years old since 2006. She has worked as a Juvenile Probation Officer and has extensive experience managing case management operations. She has a B.A. degree in criminal justice from Bethune Cookman College and she is a certified Case Management Supervisor, with our company since 2016.
